Da es bei allen beweglichen Teilen zu Verschleißerscheinungen kommen kann, ist ein jährlicher
Service notwendig� Dabei wird der komplette Elektrogreifer durch den Ottobock Service über-
prüft und gegebenenfalls nachjustiert� Außerdem werden Verschleißteile, wenn nötig, getauscht�
11 Gewährleistung
Eine Garantie kann nur gewährt werden, wenn die Ottobock System-Elektrogreifer mit Digital
Twin-Steuerung 8E33=7 und 8E34=7 unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und vorgesehenen
Zwecken verwendet werden. Das Öffnen und Reparieren des Ottobock System-Elektrogreifers
mit Digital Twin-Steuerung darf nur von autorisiertem Fach personal durchgeführt werden� Otto-
bock übernimmt nur für geprüfte Bauteil-Kombinationen eine Gewährleistung!
12 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93 / 42 / EWG für Medizinprodukte� Aufgrund
der Klassifizierungskriterien für Medizinprodukte nach Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Pro-
dukt in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb von Ottobock in allei-
niger Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt�

1 Application
The 8E33=7 and 8E34=7 Ottobock System Electric Greifers are to be used solely for the fitting
of upper limb prostheses�
Electric Greifers offer greater function and efficiency to users of the MyoBock System. These
Greifers are designed to handle a variety of specialized tasks which are unsuitable with System
Electric Hands. They offer the following advantages:

- Universal adjustment of the grip surface by rotating the fingertips
- Passive wrist joint allowing flexion, pronation and supination which permits functional operation
in all three planes�
