As delivered, the default setting is optimized for NiCad batteries.
8 Cleaning and care
Clean the product with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Dry the product with a soft, lint-free cloth
afterwards�
Then, dry the prosthetic component with a soft cloth.

10 Service
Since all moving parts are subject to some wear and tear, Ottobock recommends yearly service
check-ups by your prosthetist. During the service visit, the entire Greifer will be inspected and any
necessary adjustments will be made.
11 Warranty
The Ottobock Warranty applies only when the 8E33=7 and 8E34=7 Ottobock System Electric
Greifers with Digital Twin Control are used according to the specific conditions and for the in-
tended purposes, following all manufacturer's recommendations. The System Electric Greifer
with Digital Twin Control should not be disassembled or repaired by non-authorized personnel
Use with component combinations that have not been tested by Ottobock will void the warranty.
12 CE conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medical devices. This de-
vice has been classified as a class I device according to the classification criteria outlined in
appendix IX of the guidelines. The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Ottobock
with sole responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.
