Glossary

Broadcast address
Projector will always execute the command coming from a RCU programmed with that broadcast address.
Dew point
The dew point is the saturation temperature for water in air. The dew point is associated with relative humidity.
A high relative humidity implies that the dew point is closer to the current air temperature. Relative humidity of
100% indicates the dew point is equal to the current temperature and that the air is maximally saturated with
water. When the moisture content remains constant and temperature increases, relative humidity decreases.
DMD
A digital micromirror device, or DMD, is an optical semiconductor that is the core of DLP projection technology.
HD
Hazard Distance (HD) is the distance measured from the projection lens at which the intensity or the energy
per surface unit becomes lower than the applicable exposure limit on the cornea or on the skin. The light beam
is considered (to be) unsafe for exposure if the distance from a person to the light source is less than the HD.
Projector address
Address installed in the projector to be individually controlled via the RCU or via the serial communication.
