q
Antifreeze is flammable, so keep it away from flame.
Antifreeze is toxic. When open the drain valve, be careful not to get water containing antifreeze on
you. If it gets in your eyes, flush your eyes with large amount of fresh water and see a doctor at once.
q
When changing the coolant or draining the coolant from the radiator before carrying out repairs, ask a
specialist company to handle any coolant containing antifreeze, or contact your Komatsu distributor.
Antifreeze is toxic, so never pour it into drainage water ditches or drain it onto the ground surface.
Use antifreeze and appropriate water for diluting. (for details, see "COOLANT AND WATER FOR DILUTION (4-
5)")
We recommend use of an antifreeze density gauge to control the mixing proportions.
Prepare a container whose capacity is larger than the specified coolant volume to catch drained coolant.
Prepare a hose to supply antifreeze coolant and water.
