13. Check that the hydraulic oil temperature monitor and
engine coolant temperature monitor are displaying the cor-
rect temperature, then check that all the gauges and cau-
tion monitors on the machine monitor are in the following
status.

Radiator coolant level monitor (8): OFF
q
Charge level monitor (9): OFF
q
Engine oil pressure monitor (10): ON
q
Engine oil level monitor (11): OFF
q
Air cleaner clogging monitor (12): OFF
q
Engine preheating lamp (13): OFF
q
Engine water temperature gauge (14): Indicator in
green range
q
Engine coolant temperature monitor (1): Displays cor-
rect temperature
q
Hydraulic oil temperature gauge (15): Displays green
range
q
Hydraulic oil temperature monitor (7): Displays correct
temperature
q
Fuel gauge (16): Displays green range
q
Fuel level monitor (17): Display is correct level
14. Check for abnormal exhaust gas color, noise, or vibration.
If any problem is found, contact your Komatsu distributor.
In cold temperatures (ambient temperature below 0 °C, even when the hydraulic oil temperature monitor displays
the correct temperature, carry out additional Step 15 to warm up all the hydraulic equipment.
