Troubleshooting
MALFUNCTION
Water leakage or leaks at the heat
exchanger (external).
Pressure increase in the storage
cylinder circuit (potable water en-
ters the storage cylinder circuit).
The safety valve in the storage cyl-
inder circuit may be triggered.
The discharge capacity at the
draw-off points is too low.

CAUSE
Leakage at the heat exchanger due to
corrosion. This can be the result of a
heat exchanger that is unsuitable for
the potable water quality.
The heat exchanger is heavily calci-
fied.
The cold water pressure is too low
(the pressure reducer is set incorrect-
ly).

REMEDY
Replace the heat exchanger. Match the new
heat exchanger to the potable water quality
(see Oventrop information sheet on corro-
sion protection in the appendix).
Decalcify the potable water side of the heat
exchanger.
Check the setting of the pressure reducer.
Increase the pressure if necessary.
