MALFUNCTION
The display is permanently off.
The target temperature is not
reached. The circulation pump
makes unusual noises.
The potable water is not heated.
Only cold water is available at the
draw-off points.
The hot water temperature drops
at the draw-off point(s).
During circulation operation, the
water at the draw-off point cools
down abruptly.
With larger draw-off quantities, the
target temperature is no longer
reached.
The ring on the touch control pan-
el flashes red. The error is dis-
played.
(When the error has been correct-
ed, the error message is automati-
cally reset.)

CAUSE
The controller is in standby mode.
The power supply to the controller is
interrupted.
The controller fuse is defective.
The system has not been vented.
The volume flow sensor is contami-
nated or defective.
The controller is not in operation
(de-energised).
There is an air entrapment in the
storage cylinder circuit.
The circulation pump in the storage
cylinder circuit is defective (pump
does not run when hot water is
tapped).
The heating water temperature in the
buffer storage cylinder is too low.
The storage cylinder capacity is not
sufficient.
Cold water flows directly into the cir-
culation pipe instead of into the heat
exchanger. The check valve in the cir-
culation pipe (accessory) is contami-
nated or defective.
The storage cylinder temperature is
not sufficient for the requested draw-
off quantity.
The heat exchanger is contaminated.
The heat exchanger is calcified.
The cause is determined by the error
displayed in each case.
The complete error history can be
called up with the user logins "Install-
er" and "Special functions" in the "Sta-
tus" menu.
REMEDY
Press a key to activate the display.
Establish the power supply.
Replace the fuse (see par. 8.15 on page
46).
Vent the system (see par. 7.1 on page 28
for the storage cylinder circuit and par. 7.2
on page 29 for the potable water circuit).
Clean the volume flow sensor or replace a
defective volume flow sensor (see par. 9.4
on page 52).
Check the power supply of the controller or
establish the power supply.
Replace the fuse if necessary (see par. 8.15
on page 46).
Check the air vents in the storage cylinder
circuit for correct positioning, function and
open position.
Replace the circulation pump in the storage
cylinder circuit.
Increase the buffer storage cylinder tem-
perature.
Check the output of the heat generator.
Increase the storage cylinder capacity.
Check the system design.
Clean or replace the check valve.
Increase the heating water temperature in
the buffer storage cylinder.
Clean the storage cylinder circuit side of the
heat exchanger.
Decalcify the potable water side of the heat
exchanger.
The remedy depends on the displayed error.
