Indigo NXT Ice Machine Troubleshooting Tips
Ice Thickness Probe Diagnostics
Premature Harvest or Freeze Up
1. Remove all ice from the evaporator when
present.
(Manual Harvest through the display)
2. Press the power button and turn off the ice
machine.
3. Disconnect power from the ice machine at
the main disconnect.
4. Inspect the ice thickness probe (ITP) for
physical damage. On the face of the ITP
look for bulging or cracks around the nipple
and deformed pivot pins or pivot pin arms.
5. Verify proper Thickness setting – 9/32"
(7mm).
6. Make sure the ice thickness probe wire and
the bracket do not restrict movement of the
probe.
