Indigo NXT Ice Machine Troubleshooting
Symptom #4
o Inspect evaporator for reasons why the ice is not sliding off.
o Dry evaporator and have the area well-lit with light.
o Look for items such as: Scale on evaporator grid, plastic molding cracked or warped, bent or
damaged partition (hammer/ice pick/meat cleaver/etc.), solder deterioration, grid separation,
gasket not sealing, rough surface, silicone missing from corners, etc...
o Scale buildup that can cause a long harvest typically is on the bottom of the horizontal grids.
