2.3.2 PC FAX MODEM: RS232C SERIAL INTERFACE

The machine can function as an EIA Class 1 fax modem, using the built-in serial
interface (D-SUB 9 pins). Refer to the Operator's Manual for how to install and set
up the machine as a fax modem.
NOTE: The serial interface is not available in some countries.

CLASS 1 INTERFACE
The EIA/TIA Class 1 PC-Fax interface lets the fax application running on the host
computer control all of the T.4, T.6 and T.30 procedures. So, the machine cannot
log pc-fax communications on the TCR.
