Where to Go From Here
Your switch is now correctly installed and is able to send and receive data
between end nodes, servers, and printers.
The Switch 4000M and 8000M are plug-and-communicate network devices
requiring no configuration. If you wish to manage the switch from an SNMP-
based network management station, through the web browser interface, or
over a telnet console session, you will need to configure the IP address on the
switch. See the Management and Configuration Guide that came with your
switch for information on how to use the switch console interface to configure
the IP address.
