Smart key vehicles
To connect the module:
Please ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location and cannot move forward during

programming. For vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, make sure the gearshift
lever is in the neutral position.
Connect all the harnesses to the Directed Digital Solutions, EXCEPT the 12-pin main power

harness.
Connect the 12-pin main power harness, and wait until the LED turns ON solid red.

Note: To skip the transponder programming and use convenience features only, press the
programming button 5 times. Wait unil the LED turns ON solid orange before proceeding.
Turn the ignition ON. The LED will flash green then remain ON solid green
for 3 seconds, then will turn OFF.

Note: When skipping transponder programming, the LED flashes orange,
then turns ON solid orange for 3 seconds, before turning OFF.

Turn the vehicle ignition OFF by pressing once on the PTS button.
Pair remotes (if applicable). For information on how to pair a specific remote, please

refer to its corresponding owner documentation, which can be found inside the product
packaging of the complete system or on www.directechs.com.*
DATA Tach: Firmware using DATA Tach, the tachometer is preprogrammed for the vehicle
and no further action is required. For instructions on how to adjust tach or use Virtual tach,
refer to "Initialize Virtual Tach" (not needed with hardwired or data tach applications), see
page 56.

Hardwire Tach: Firmware using the Violet/White Hardwire Tach input will require
programming. For instructions on how to program or adjust tach or use Virtual tach, refer
to "Initialize Virtual Tach" (not needed with hardwired or data tach applications), see page
56.

You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
