    For vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, make sure the gearshift lever is in the neutral position. DS3+: Connect the 12-pin main power harness to the DS3+ module FIRST. Wait until the LED turns ON solid red before proceeding to the next step.

    Loops Pigtails DO NOT connect the Directed SmartStart ® 2-pin power harness when using the DS3+/DS4+. Power and ground will be provided by the D2D connector on the module.
