3.3 R-712A+MBRTU/TCP GW Utility

If it is necessary to communicate with or configure the IR-712A in the remote RS-485 network
while the system backbone network is Ethernet, it needs to add the Modbus TCP/RTU gateway
(e.g. tGW-715) as an interface between these two networks with different protocols. The
connection diagram is shown in Figure 3-26.

In the main window of the IR utility, click the "Module" to select the item of the "IR-712A_MBGW".
Click the "Open Interface" button to open the main configuration window as shown in Figure 3-27,
where:
 Network Interface: The wired/wireless network adapter of the PC
 IP Address: The IP address of the Modbus Gateway
 Port: TCP port of the Modbus Gateway
After connecting to the Modbus gateway, it is all right to configure the IR-712A by the Modbus
TCP protocol. There are no functions of "resetting basic setting" and "firmware update" for the
utility in this mode.
