As supervisor, you can create operator PIN codes for controlling access to the Mailing
System.
You can then assign each PIN code a list of specific accounts that can be charged only to
that PIN code.
You can only manage operator PIN codes if the Mailing System is in the following 'Account
modes' (see
Introducing the 'Account Modes'
• Accounts with access control.
• Remote account management.

• In Remote account management, you can only manage the PIN codes from the PC.
Operator / PIN Code Parameters
In the Mailing System, each PIN code is associated with a name, a list of accounts and a
status (active or not).
You have to set these parameters when creating an operator PIN code.

Managing Operator PIN Codes
Users can use only activated accounts or operator PIN codes. If
necessary, as long as your accounting structure is not complete,
you can create Accounts or Operators without activating them.
