- Page 2 7 Your new Mailing System will need to be able to connect with Servers at Quadient Ltd in order to activate the machine and in order to allow funds to be added. The machine has been designed to make this connection over the Internet, either directly or via a Local Area Network (LAN) Connection.

- Page 4 It is printed on the Meter (NE8######). Open the top cover of the machine. Fit the meter as shown in the diagram below. On the IS-330/350 a cover has to be opened first to install the meter. The meter is placed into the cavity and then pushed forward to connect as shown in the diagram below.
- Page 5 Install Ink Cartridge Remove the Ink Cartridge from the box and then remove the blue tabs that are covering the print heads. Ensuring that the power is not connected, open the top cover of the machine. The carriage will be in the correct position to install the cartridge.
- Page 6 Connection of All Other Units To connect a feed table to the base. To connect an Autofeed to the base (IS-440 only) Connect the cable from the feeder unit to COM 1 at the rear of the base unit and tighten the screws. To connect a WP (Weigh Platform) to the base.
- Page 7 Connect CAT 5E LAN cable CAT 5E LAN Cable Network LAN Port Socket Plug the CAT 5E (LAN) cable into the LAN port. Then plug the CAT 5E (LAN) cable into t h e N e t w o r k socket.
- Page 8 Follow the on-screen prompts using the keys. |Note: If you are running a proxy server, please refer to page 5 of the LAN installation guide. Type of connection If you are going to connect to Quadient via LAN, please proceed to step 10.

In the interest of Meter security whilst in transit your new machine will have to be activated on installation. A registration PIN will need to be entered into the machine.
