3.2 Menu selection

3.2.1 New
Enables a new file to be created without Zfx Manager 2.0. The restoration and scan method are created using the
configurator described in → Chapter 4.4 "Operating mode – Configuration". It is recommended that restorations always
be described using Zfx Manager 2.0.
3.2.2 Open
Open the restorations created in Zfx Manager 2.0 or upload data sets that have already been saved.
3.2.3 Save
Saves newly created or modified data sets.
3.2.4 Calibration
The system can be recalibrated. The calibration procedure is described in → 4.3 "Calibration".
3.2.5 Service
Service mode provides important tools for maintaining and checking the system.
Service mode is for qualified service personnel only and requires a password. How to use the service area is explained in
the installation manual which is available separately.
3.3 Information display
In the information display, the user is prompted to carry out certain working steps, e.g. to position the
jaw impression in the scanner.
Info button
If the description in the information display is not sufficient for understanding the procedure, the user can obtain detailed
instructions on the next action step by clicking the left mouse button (LMB).
