4.5.5 Brightness setting

The optimum brightness for the scan area can be defined in the automatic brightness setting display. Where necessary,
this can be adjusted automatically (→ Chapter 4.5.5.1), or manually, (→ Chapter 4.5.6).

explicitly advised of the need for the setting. However, it should be ensured that the scan object is optimally
illuminated, as the quality of the scan data is directly dependent on this.

4.5.5.1 Automatic brightness setting
The green selection frame allows the user to adjust, position and select
the area on which the automatic brightness setting is to work.
The position should be selected such that the area to be scanned is
optimally illuminated.
The optimum brightness for this area is set by double-clicking inside
the selection frame.
Reposition the selection frame – Option 1
Position the mouse pointer inside the selection frame and,
keeping the
left mouse button
required position.
Reposition the selection frame – Option 2
Move the mouse pointer to the required position and confirm the

position by double-clicking with the
jump to the selected position.
