Caution: Alarm Relays on the Hubs and Remote Unit are intended for low voltage/current
signaling only. Maximum operating voltage 50V, maximum operating current 1A.
The Power Supply Module in the Secondary Hub 305-0004 and 306-0004 has
multiple sources and may include a fuse in the Neutral AC connection. After
operation of the fuse, parts of the equipment that remain energized might represent
a hazard during servicing.

Fiber Considerations

Caution: Avoid dust ingress to fiber connectors by mounting the Remote Unit with the fiber
connector facing downwards, or by leaving the dust-caps in place until the fiber is connected.
Caution: Connector types must match (i.e. SC-APC to SC-APC). Otherwise, there will be an
air gap between the connector faces that will create high back reflection and high optical loss.
Caution: Zinwave hardware ONLY supports SINGLE Mode Fiber.
Caution: Fiber handling procedures should be carefully observed so as not to damage or
introduce dirt to fiber interfaces during installation.
Caution: Observe safety precautions when working with fiber cables and devices.
