EAPU test connection screw plug (Actros)

Secure vehicle with chocks to prevent it from rolling.
•
Remove screw plug (1).
•
Screw in adapter for test connection.
The adapters for the test connection are available in
each Mercedes-Benz service center, see chapter
"Tools and Accessories".

Emergency filling of the compressed air system
General notes

If the supply pressure of the external compressed-air
source is below 11 bar, you may not be able to fill all
of the pressure circuits.
Please note that the compressed air is not guided
through the compressed-air drier under the following
conditions:

At the test connections on the brake value sensor
Brake value sensor test connections (Actros)
If you cannot start the engine, fill the compressed-air
system via the front test connections (1) and (2) on the
brake value sensor.
If you fill the compressed-air system via a test
connection, the air suspension may also be filled at the
Actros, Antos and Arocs | Towing and recovery
Compressed-air system external filling

Connect external pressure source and fill system.
When you remove the adapter and install the screw
plug (1), replace the sealing ring.

If you route the compressed air system via the test
connections on the brake value sensor behind the
maintenance flap.
•
If you fill the compressed air system via the test
connection 28 on the EAPU.

Fill pressure circuits with max. 12.5 bar. Otherwise
components of the compressed air system could be
damaged.
