Due to the nature of a contactless sensor in replace of a physical button and if using the panel
externally the sensor must be protected from direct rain/snowfall to avoid false triggering of the sensor.
Note:
the infrared sensors proximity range is fixed (approx. 14 cm) respectively the no touch sensor
can be triggered by anything that passes in front of it for example but not limited to heavy snow, heavy
rainfall; bugs cobwebs etc... This can cause false triggering issues if not properly maintained.
There is a 'Do Not Disturb' feature that can be programmed to prevent calls being received at set
hours, but this is not a replacement for providing adequate cover for the sensor.
