7 Calibrate the Everest engine Base Camp 4140

▶ Press the Start function key twice on the control panel.
The machine switches to emergency off status.
▶ To load the new machine parameters, switch to the menu "SETUP".
▶ Upon request, enter the password "IBHAJ", and confirm with "OK".
▶ Click the button " Machine setup" (F2).
▶ Click the button "Machine parameters" (F1).
▶ Click the button "Load" (F2).
The list "Program directory" is opened with at least two versions of machine
parameter files.
▶ Select the previously saved file with the new version number, and confirm with
"OK".
▶ Confirm the message that the machine parameters are being overwritten with
"OK".
The message "Transfer successfully concluded" is generated.

7.5.3 Check the new active machine parameters

▶ Switch to the "INFO" menu
▶ Click the button "Version".
▶ Check if the new saved and loaded version is also active.
The active version is displayed under the line "Active machine parameters".
(Example: 3864303.MPF)

7.5.4 Backup cycle parameters

A change to the cycle parameters becomes immediately active, i.e. in the cycle
parameters do not have to be separately loaded. The change to P51 is already
active at but not saved on the hard disk. However, the active cycle parameters can
be read out, saved and reloaded at any time by the MMI software at any time. The
changed and active cycle parameters should be saved under a specific number with
a serial index.
The number of the last saved cycle parameter file must be determined:
▶ Open WindowsNT Explorer.
▶ Switch to the directory with the cycle parameter files: "C:\IBHData\Cycle Para‐
meter".
