7.5 Back up and load the machine and cycle parameters

7.5.1 Back up the machine parameter file under a new version number

▶ Click the button "Backup" (F2).
The "File selection" window opens. At least one old version of the machine pa‐
rameter file is listed here.
▶ Record the old machine parameter file on the form.
▶ Selected the number of the old machine parameter file in the window "File se‐
lection".
▶ Increase the serial index by one and save.
Example:
- Old number: 3864302.MPF
- New number: 3864303.MPF
▶ Confirm entry with "OK".
▶ Close the window "MP tool" by clicking the button "End" (F8).

7.5.2 Load the new machine parameters

Requirement
For the changed machine parameters saved under the new version number to be
active, they first must be loaded into the control memory.
The machine must be in emergency off.
▶ Switch to the "AUTOmatic" menu.
▶ Click the button "Program process" (F1).
▶ Click the button "Manual data input" (F3).
▶ Enter "N1M93" in the entry window, and confirm with "OK"
