Setup from the Printer Panel and WebSetup
/
Press the
CONTINUE button to increment a value. Press the
CANCEL button to accept a value and move to the next number to be
entered. Numbers are entered from right to left. When all values have been
entered, press the ENTER button to accept your selection.
Ethernet Subnet Mask
[255.255.255.0*]
Use this option to specify the subnet mask for printing with TCP/IP over
Ethernet or Token Ring. Press the
value. Press the
/CANCEL button to accept a value and move to the next
number to be entered. Numbers are entered from right to left. When all
values have been entered, press the ENTER button to accept your
selection.
Use the arrow buttons to select numbers in the address. Press the ENTER
button to accept your selection.
Gateway Address
[127.0.0.1*]
Use this option to specify the gateway address for printing with TCP/IP. By
default, no gateway address is set. If your TCP/IP network has a gateway
and you plan to print using TCP/IP, you must enter the gateway address.
B) When you select AppleTalk Setup:
AppleTalk Setup
To advance to the next screen, press the ENTER button.
Enable AppleTalk?
Yes/No [No*]
Select YES if you have an AppleTalk network connected to the printer. Note
that you can enable AppleTalk, TCP/IP, and IPX (Novell) communication
simultaneously.
NOTE:
The following option is displayed only if AppleTalk is enabled.
AppleTalk Zone
Select the AppleTalk zone in which you want the printer to appear. If you do
not select a zone, the printer is assigned to the default AppleTalk zone.
