8. Repair
Repair work may be
carried out by
• authorised experts of
service staff of the
manufacturer or
• staff trained by the
manufacturer.
Disconnect the machine
from the mains before
performing any
maintenance and repair
work.
• Place main switch in pos. "0".
• Secure the main switch with a padlock
against unauthorized switching‐on.
Unauthorised repair work by the user is
not allowed. In case of unauthorised
intervening with the machine, the
warranty and liability claim against the
manufacturer will be terminated.
Welding work on any structural members
is prohibited.
Only skilled workers may carry out the
repair of electrical equipment.
Observe the instructions in
Chapter 3 "Safety"
Remember that after any
extensive repair work an
equipment safety
inspection must take place.
After any safety relevant repairs or
modifications the parts affected and/ or
the machine must be inspected. The scope
of the inspection is dictated by the scope
of the repairs or modification carried out.
To prevent repair work the maintenance
work must be performed according to the
instructions.
Safety relevant faults or damage must be
fixed immediately or reported for repair.
In the event of obvious danger to the
operating personnel or to the system the
machine must be stopped immediately
and secured against being switched back
on.
