system it is often fitted with a funnel
extension for height regulation.

5.3. Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system provides the
hydraulic pressure required for
compacting the material by means of the
press body.
The electrically driven hydraulic pump, a
gear pump, provides the necessary
operating pressure to the hydraulic
system. The hydraulic system is operated
at a pressure of max. 200 to 265 bar,
depending on the type machine. A valve is
fitted as an overload protection which
protects the hydraulic system from
excessive pressure.

• hydraulic tank (2),
• filter unit (3),
• valve block (4),
• Tank cap with venting valve (5),
• pressure gauge (6)
• Oil sensor / temperature
• hydraulic pipes & hydraulic hoses
• hydraulic cylinder, press body
• hydraulic cylinder, needle.

• oil cooler
• oil heater
