The throttle / brake linkages have the following impact:
Full throttle (A):
The carburettor slider is fully extended, the brake has no effect.
Idle (B):
The carburettor slider is retracted to the stop (approx. 1 mm gap), the adjustment rings at the braking levers are loosely aligned.
Brakes (C):
The throttle linkage pushes against the spring resistance. The brake linkage pushes forward against the fully extended brake levers.
A
Function inspection of the throttle/brake servo
• Move the lever of the remote control (channel 2) towards the back (full throttle position). The carburettor slide must now be completely pulled out, the
carburettor outlet opened to its maximum (figure 6, item A). The brakes have no effect.
• If the carburettor slide does not respond to the remote control, switch the servo reverse for channel 2 to "REV" to reverse the rotating direction.
• If the carburettor slide only opens partly, correct the servo travel at the trim (channel 2) or the servo path settings of the remote control transmitter.
• Release the lever of the remote control.
Now the carburettor slide must go back to the idle speed position (figure 6, item B, carburettor outlet opened to approx. 1 mm).
The brake has no function still.
• Press the lever of the remote control forward as far as it will go (braking = figure 6, item C).
The carburettor slide must remain in the idle speed position (carburettor outlet opened to approx. 1 mm).
The servo lever at the carburettor linkage pushes against a spring resistance, the servo lever at the brake linkage operates the brake levers.
• Release the lever of the remote control again; now the brakes should release again.
• You can adjust the brake linkage by moving the adjustment rings at the brake link lever accordingly.
The braking servo must not run to the block at full deflection of the remote control (servo humming). If this is not the case, reduce the servo paths
accordingly at the remote control transmitter. For this, observe the corresponding operating instructions for the remote control system.
