Adjusting the Front Wheel
Toe-in
Service Interval: Every 200 hours/Yearly (whichever
comes first)
You should measure 0 to 3 mm (0 to 1/8 inch) between
the front centerline of the tires and the back centerline
of the tires.

Check and fill all tires; refer to
Air Pressure (page

Measure the distance between both of the front
tires at the axle height at both the front and rear
of the front tires
(Figure
Note:
The distance between the front of the
tires should be 0 to 3 mm (0 to 1/8 inch) less
than the distance between the back side of the
front tires.

If the measurement does not fall within the
specified range, loosen the jam nuts at both
ends of the tie rod

Rotate the tie rod to move the front of the tire
inward or outward.
5.
Tighten the tie rod jam nuts when the adjustment
is correct.
6.
Ensure that the steering wheel rotates an equal
amount in both directions.
