Hydraulic Cylinder Priming
Hydraulic Cylinder must be filled with hydraulic oil before operating the Titan 5000 bucket or grate. Hydraulic
cylinders and lines are filled by holding the valve control levers in the extended position until the cylinder fully
retracts and extends. Place control levers in the float position and repeat process several more times to purge
all air from the system.

7. PRE-OPERATION INSPECTION AND SERVICE

Before each use, a pre-operation inspection and service of the rock picker and tractor must be performed. This
includes routine maintenance and scheduled lubrication, inspecting that all safety devices are equipped and
functional, and performing needed repairs. Do not operate the rock picker and tractor if the pre-operation
inspection reveals any condition affecting safe operation. Perform repairs and replacement of damaged and
missing parts as soon as noticed. By performing a thorough pre-operation inspection and service, valuable
down time and repair cost can be avoided.
Never work under the Implement, the framework, or any lifted
component unless the Implement is securely supported or blocked up to
prevent sudden or inadvertent falling which could cause serious injury or
even death.
Periodically inspect all moving parts for wear and replace when
necessary with authorized service parts. Look for loose fasteners, worn
or broken parts, and leaky or loose fittings. Make sure all pins have
cotter pins and washers. Serious injury may occur from not maintaining
this machine in good working order.
