■ Do not allow children to play with the
appliance or have access to the appli-
ance if they are unsupervised.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
■ The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use. Care should
be taken to avoid touching heating
elements. Children less than 8 years
of age shall be kept away unless con-
tinuously supervised.

Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.
■ Only use the appliance indoors. Do
not use in wet rooms or in the rain.
■ Do not operate or continue to opera-
te the appliance if it
– shows visible signs of damage, for
example, the connection cable is
defective, the control panel is cra-
cked or the door does not close
tightly:
– starts smoking or there is a burning
smell;
– makes unusual sounds.
In such cases, remove the mains plug
and contact our Service department
(see page EN-41).
■ The appliance corresponds to protec-
tion class 1 and may only be connec-
ted to a properly installed protective
conductor. Ensure that the voltage is
correct when connecting it. More de-

■ Connection to the mains supply may
only be made by an authorised elec-
trician approved by the local energy
supply company (see page EN-37).
Only then will you benefi t from our
warranty and a suffi cient level of sa-
fety. Unauthorised persons may not
connect the appliance to the mains
supply. You can endanger your life
and that of subsequent users! This
also applies to disconnection from
the power supply and dismantling
the old appliance.
■ Since all poles of the appliance can-
not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device
in accordance with overvoltage ca-
tegory III must be connected within
the house installation with at least 3
mm contact clearance; consult a qua-
lified professional if necessary (see
page EN-41).
■ If the mains plug is no longer acces-
sible after installation, an all-pole dis-
connecting device complying with
overvoltage category III must be
connected to the house wiring with a
contact gap of at least 3 mm; consult
a qualifi ed professional if necessary
(see page EN-41).
■ Before connecting the device, switch
off the relevant electric circuit(s)
(switch off circuit breakers or unscrew
fuses). Before accessing the termi-
nals, all supply circuits must be swit-
ched off.
