HYBRID SYSTEM - MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Hybrid Battery
(Traction Battery) Air Intake
Vents / Filters
To prevent the fuel economy
from being affected, visually in-
spect the hybrid battery (traction
battery) air intake vents/filters
periodically for dust and clogs.
If they are dusty or clogged or
if "Maintenance Required for
Traction Battery Cooling Parts
See Owner's Manual" is shown
on the multi-information display,
clean the air intake vents/filters
using the following procedures.

Cleaning the Air Intake Vents /
Filters
There are (4) air intake vents/fil-
ters under the third-row seats.
Pull off the air intake vent/filter's
individually. Each vent/filter is
secured with (4) re-usable push
pins and the vent/filter is mag-
netic.
Rinse vent/filter with water to
remove and dust or debris.
Blow dry vent/filter.
Replace filter.
If Dust & Clogs cannot be
Completely Removed or Vent
/ Filter is Damaged
Replace all (4) vent/filters.
Replacement vent/filters are
available at your BraunAbility
dealer.
