Kneel Electrical Override

An electrical override feature
is incorporated in the kneel
system. The override by-passes
the electronic control system to
electrically power the kneel ac-
tuator. The override is available
to raise the rear of the vehicle
only.
The kneel override switch is lo-
cated on the bottom of the driver
side C-Pillar. Press and hold
the switch to release the kneel
system (raise vehicle). Release
the switch when the rear of the
vehicle has raised fully. The
kneel actuator motor will stop
when raise function is complete.
Note: Override switches are
provided as a backup. The
electronic control system is the
recommend/primary control
method for mobility functions
(control switches detailed on
pages 12-14).
