OPERATION
12V Accessory Battery
General Information
Hybrid vehicles rely on the HV
System (HV battery, HV inver-
tor, and HV generator) to provide
power for many vehicle systems,
such as the power train, HVAC
and others. Since this vehicle
does not rely as heavily on a
12V system like a conventional
vehicle would, the 12V accessory
battery's power is reduced. Once
running, the vehicles onboard
systems will maintain the 12V
accessory battery. Refer to the
OEM manual for reference the
12V accessory battery.

Items that will help prevent 12V
accessory battery drain, when not
in use:
Do not leave key fob in vehicle.
Do not leave any door open.
The conversion systems functions
are powered by the 12V accessory
battery and can impact the charge
of the 12V accessory battery.
Battery Maintenance Guidelines
& Recharging
In case of 12V accessory battery
charge loss, adhere to all OEM
precautions and procedures when
recharging the 12V battery.
12V accessory battery precau-
tions, location, maintenance
guidelines and recharging pro-
cedures have not be effected
by conversion. Refer to OEM
manual.
