1. Park the machine on a level surface. Stop the engine, wait for all moving
parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Unhook the Z-bend and disconnect the deflector cable from the underside of
the QUICK STICK®.

3. On the underside of the control panel, remove the 2 (1/4–10 x 0.82 inch)
screws holding the QUICK STICK® cover in place.

4. Lift the front cover and pull forward to release the latch tabs on the rear.
Set the cover aside.
