Lighting features
Entry lighting
Welcome lighting
Headlights, tail lights and interior
lights illuminate for a short time when
unlocking the vehicle with the remote
control. This function facilitates
retrieving the vehicle when it is dark.
The lighting switches off immediately
when the ignition is turned to the
accessory position.
Activation or deactivation of this
function can be changed in the menu
Settings in the Info-Display. Vehicle
personalisation 3 73.
Entrance lighting
The following lights will additionally
illuminate when driver`s door is
opened:
■ All switches
■ Driver Information Centre
■ Some interior lights

Exit lighting

Headlights and tail lights illuminate
the way for an adjustable time after
leaving the vehicle.
Switching on
1. Switch off ignition.
2. Remove ignition key.
3. Open driver's door.
4. Pull turn signal lever.
5. Close driver's door.
If the driver's door is not closed the
lights switch off after approximately
1 minute.

Battery discharge
protection
Switching off electric lights
To prevent discharge of the battery
when the ignition is switched off,
some interior lights are switched off
automatically after some time.
