By default:
All extensions can use Personal and System Speed Dial.
There no Personal or System Speed Dial numbers programmed (i.e., all bins are empty).
Only the attendant (extension 300) can store System Speed Dial numbers.
The system has 100 System Speed Dial numbers (200-299).
Since the DS2000 system has no Trunk Groups defined by default, users should store trunk numbers
(e.g., 1) instead of Trunk Groups when programming outside Speed Dial numbers.
Programming
To program System Speed Dial numbers:
1.
Enter the programming mode. You see:
USER: nnn
ENTER PROGRAM?

Enter
1101:SYSTEM SPD DIAL
BIN?nnn
3.
Enter the number of the system bin you want to program (200-299) +
1101:SPDL BIN:nnn
LINE/GRP/ICM:n
4.
Enter the trunk number (e.g., 1) you want the system to use when dialing the stored number +
Enter the Trunk Group number (90-98 for Trunk Groups 0-8) you want the system to use when dialing
the stored number +
Press
1101:SPDL BIN:nnn
NUM?nnnnnnn
5.
Enter the System Speed Dial number for the selected bin +
1101:SPDL BIN:nnn
NA?nnnnnnn
automatically uses the next adjacent bin in addition to the bin you are programming.
6.
Enter the name for the selected bin +
7.
Go back to step 3 and select another bin to program.
