Changing Ringing Assignments With User Programmable Features

A keyset user can change line key ringing right from their phone.
To change line key ringing with the User Programmable Features:
1.
Dial #RAL .
2.
Press the line key to change its ringing mode.
3.
Press SPK when you are done.

Programming Ringing at Single Line Telephones

With software version 02.02.00 and higher, single line telephones follow the 1805 - Ring Assignments
programming (see the previous page). If you have earlier software (or want an alternate way to make single
line sets ring), consider setting up Ring Groups. There are three basic steps to do this:
Part I: Set up a Ring Group Master Number.
Part II: Terminate trunks to the Ring Group Master Number.
Part III: Assign single line sets to the Ring Group.
Part I: Set up a Ring Group Master Number
The system will direct certain outside calls (set up in Part II below) to this master number.

Enter the programming mode. You see:
USER: nnn
ENTER PROGRAM?

Enter 0511 + HOLD . You see:
0511:RING GROUP ID
GROUP NUM?n
3.
Enter the number of the Ring Group you want to program (1-8) + HOLD . You see:
0511:RING ID-GROUP:n
EXT NUM?nnn
4.
Enter an "unused" number for the Ring Group master number (e.g., 600) + HOLD .
5.
Press CONF twice to exit program 0511.
Part II: Terminate Trunks to the Ring Group Master Number
Trunks terminated to the Ring Group Master number will ring the single line sets assigned to the Ring Group in
Part III below. (Once terminated to the master number, a trunk will flash but no longer ring a keyset's line key.)

Enter the programming mode. You see:
USER: nnn
ENTER PROGRAM?
1-8

Your line keys flash. The flash rate shows the type of ringing enabled:
On red = lamp only day and night
On green = immediate ring day and night
Fast flash green = delay ring day and night
Slow flash green = immediate ring at night, lamp only during the day
