13 BATCHING/DATA LOGGING

Your Covermeter includes internal memory which can be used to save depth of
cover readings. Use this memory to save your readings as you take them; this
will help to increase your productivity on site and reduce the need to rely on
paper and pen to record your results.

13.1 Saving your readings in memory

Your Covermeter has a memory capacity of over 65 000
memory you will need to understand how to use the Data Logger.
MENU / DATA LOGGER
All the readings you save are stored in groups of memory locations known as
'batches'. For a complete explanation of batches and how they can be used to
help organise your records see "Memory" on page 46.
To use a batch of memory it is first necessary to define and open (create) a
batch. Once the batch has been opened you can then save your readings into
that batch as you take them.

You may exit batching at any time; once you exit batching (and hence the
Covermeter is not data logging), readings will no longer be saved.
