13.2 Exit batching

Switches off batching (the data logger). No further readings are saved, the
display reverts to the reading screen and the BATCH softkey disappears.

13.3 Open new batch

Opens (creates) a new memory batch.
The Covermeter uses the most recently created batch as a template for the new
batch. The batch name is based upon the alphanumeric value of the last batch
created, but all other header fields are left blank - see "What does a batch
contain?" on page 47.
1. Enter information in the header fields (including the batch name) as

page 48.
2. When you are happy with the details you have added or changed, press
to create the batch
then starts batching (the BATCH softkey appears on the reading screen).
3. Zero the Covermeter if requested.

13.4 Open existing batch

Opens an existing memory batch.
1. Use Left/Right softkeys [
2. Press
to select the batch. When the batch has been opened, the
display switches to the reading screen and then starts batching (the BATCH
softkey appears on the reading screen). Readings in the existing batch can
then be amended, deleted and added.
3. Zero the Covermeter if requested.

13.5 Clone batch/Copy batch information

Creates a clone (a copy) of an existing memory batch.
Cloning a batch allows the contents of an existing batch to be copied
(everything is copied except for the readings). Cloning is typically used on site
to create new batches without having to re-enter batch header details such as
the name of the site, the engineer, the customer, etc.
m. If a new batch is created with a name matching an existing batch, the instrument
beeps and returns to the name editing screen.
n. The information in batch header fields cannot be changed once a batch has been
created.
