the transducer.

To move the transducer to its predefined middle position, select

Middle
Retracting the transducer to a middle position may be useful if you use the SN90
simultaneously with other sonars. A higher position will permit you to increase the
vessel speed. If you operate in very shallow waters, you may also reduce the risk
of hitting bottom. However, placing the transducer immediately under the hull
may increase the flow noise.

Turning off the SN90

When you do not use the SN90, turn off the entire system. To power down the three
Power Supply Units and the Transceiver Unit, use the functionality in the SN90 program.
When you do not use the SN90, turn off the display and the Processor Unit.
A hull unit may be provided as an optional method to lower and hoist the transducer.
This task assumes that a hull unit is installed. If a hull unit is not installed you can
disregard information related to lowering and hoisting the transducer.

turns off the Processor Unit and the Transceiver Unit.

Exit to Operation System
Transceiver Unit.
