About this manual
The purpose of this manual is to provide the descriptions and procedures required to
allow for efficient use of the Simrad SN90. The manual does not contain detailed
information about functions, dialog boxes and operating parameters.
Target audience
This manual is intended for all regular users of the SN90. Due to the nature of the
descriptions and the level of detail provided by this manual, it is well suited for those
who use the SN90 on a daily basis, and have access to expert users for advice. We
assume that you are familiar with the basic acoustic principles of sound in water. We
also expect that you have some experience with sonar operation.
