7.8. Setting limit outputs (10., 11. menu item)

The instrument has two optional limit outputs. They are
identical with each other, and work independently.
Operation: the instrument keeps comparing the displayed
physical value with the (adjustable) limit value. It switches
the output ON or outpot OFF depending whether the
displayed value is higher or lower than the limit value.
1. Enter the menu with the supervisor code.
The way the code should be type in can be found in
Chapter 7.1. Typing the code in. You see on the display:


2. Keep stepping by pressing the ▲ button as long as you
see this menu item:
3. Enter the menu item by pressing the ENTER button.
4. 4. You see this:
L1 (Limit 1) means: limit output No. 1.
Blinking SS (Settings) means: settings. Here you can define
the operating mode for the limit output. Enter by pressing
the ENTER button.
5. Keep stepping by pressing the ▲ button you can select
the desired limit-output operating mode.

: the output is always in switched off condition.
[default factory setting]

: (High). The output gets switched on, when the
displayed physical value is higher than or equal with the low
limit value (L.LI).

: (Low) The output gets switched on, when the
displayed physical value is lower than the low limit value
(L.LI).

: (Inside) The output gets switched on, when the
displayed physical value is between the low limit value (L.LI)
and the higher limit value (H.LI).

