Enabling a device
You can enable a disabled device. When you enable a device:
•
The common Disable LED turns off (if there are no other
disabled devices)
•
The message on the LCD display indicating the disabled device disappears
•
The common Trouble LED turns off and the panel returns to normal
•
The LEDs change to show current status (e.g. if the device is in
trouble, the Trouble LED lights)
•
The disabled points and active points counters on the LCD
display decrement
Note:
If the device you are enabling is active, a warning message is displayed.
To enable a device:
1.
Press the Menu button.
2.
Choose Control.
3.
Enter your password (the minimum of a level one password is
required).
4.
Choose Enable/Disable.
5.
Choose Device.
6.
Choose the loop the device is on.
Note:
If your panel only has one loop, the loop selection screen
does not display. Go to the next step.
7.
Enter the device ID for the device that you want to enable.
8.
Press Enter.
9.
If the device is active, acknowledge the warning message by
selecting Continue to disable the device or Cancel to exit.
The device is disabled and a message indicating that the device
is disabled is displayed on the LCD.
10. Press Cancel to return to the previous menu.

Press the Menu button to exit menu mode.
