Chapter 4: UEFI BIOS
Hot Plug
This feature designates the port specified for hot plugging. Set to Enabled for hot-plugging
support, which will allow you to replace a SATA disk drive without shutting down the system.
The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Spin Up Device
When this feature is disabled, all drives will spin up at boot. When it is enabled, it will
perform Staggered Spin Up on any drive this feature is activated. The options are Disabled
and Enabled.
SATA Device Type
Use this feature to identify the type of HDD that is connected to the STATA port. The options
are Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Drive.
Trusted Computing
• TPM20 Device Found*
• Vendor: IFX*
• Firmware Version: 5.51*
Note: Exact hardware details will depend on currently installed hardware.
Security Device Support
If this feature and the TPM jumper on the motherboard are both set to Enabled, onboard
security devices will be enabled for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) support to enhance
data integrity and network security. Please reboot the system for a change on this setting
to take effect. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
The following Platform Configuration Register information will be displayed:
• Active PCR banks: SHA-1,SHA256
• Available PCR banks: SHA-1,SHA256
*If the feature of
Security Device Support
is set to Enabled, the following features
will become available for configuration:
SHA-1 PCR Bank
Use this feature to disable or enable the SHA-1 Platform Configuration Register (PCR)
bank for the installed TPM device. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
SHA256 PCR Bank
Use this feature to disable or enable the SHA256 Platform Configuration Register (PCR)
bank for the installed TPM device. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
