Media detect count
Use this feature to select the wait time in seconds for the BIOS ROM to detect the LAN
media (Internet connection or LAN port). The default setting is 1.
Security
Use this submenu to create Administrator and User passwords. Using ONLY an Administrator
password limits access to BIOS setup. Using ONLY a User password will lock unauthorized
users from booting the system and/or entering BIOS setup.
Secure Boot
System Mode - User
Attempt Secure Boot Not Active
This feature is available when the Platform Key (PK) is enrolled where the platform operates
in the User mode and Compatibility Support Module (CSM) support is disabled in the BIOS
Setup utility. Select Enabled for secure boot flow control. The options are Disabled and
Enabled.
Secure Boot Mode
This feature allows selection of the Secure Boot Mode between Standard and Custom.
Selecting Custom enables users to change the Image Execution Policy and manage Secure
Boot Keys. The options are Standard and Customized.
CSM Support
Select Enabled to support the EFI Compatibility Support Module (CSM), which provides
compatibility support for traditional legacy BIOS for system boot. The options are Disabled
and Enabled.
Key Management
Vendor Keys - Modified
Provision Factory Defaults
This feature provisions factory default keys on the next system boot while in Setup Mode.
The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Install Factory Default keys
This feature forces the system into User Mode and installs factory defaults keys.
Reset to Setup Mode
This feature deletes the contents of all UEFI Secure Boot key databases. This will result
in entering Setup Mode.
