Checking the drive lever
1. Turn the rotary knob "maximum speed" to rabbit.
2. Press the left joystick forward.
ð The drive lever moves forward without delay.
3. Release the left joystick.
ð The drive lever goes to neutral position/parking brake
without delay.
4. Press the left joystick backward.
ð The drive lever moves backward without delay.
5. Release the left joystick.
ð The drive lever goes to neutral position/parking brake
without delay.
Checking the cutting height
1. Continue to press the toggle switch "Lower cutting height"
until the cutting height adjustment stops by itself.
ð The cutting height display must be set to 1.
2. Continue to press the toggle switch "Higher cutting height"
until the cutting height adjustment stops by itself.
ð The cutting height display must be set to 5.
3. Briefly press the button "Transport position blade".
ð The blade is moved to transport position.
ð The cutting height display must be set to 0.
4. Briefly activate the toggle switch "Lower cutting height"
ð The cutting height moves automatically from the trans-
port position to the highest cutting height.
ð The cutting height display must be set to 5.
Check while the engine is running
1. Start the engine.
ð The device must stationary.
2. Pull the accelerator lever all the way up.
ð The engine runs at idle.
3. Repeat the test procedures for steeing, drive lever and
cutting height
ð For function, see the respective point.
ð The device must drive forward when you press the
right joystick forward.
ð The device must drive backward when you press the
right joystick backward.
ð The device must stop without delay when you release
the right joystick.

Checking the safety functions

Magnetic contact switch on the Remote Control
Transmitter holder
1. Select MC operating mode.
2. Sit down in the driver's seat.
3. Switch on the Remote Control Transmitter and the re-
ceiver.
4. Start the engine.
5. Turn the accelerator lever to neutral position.
6. Remove the Remote Control Transmitter from the Remote
Control Transmitter holder.
7. Turn the accelerator lever forward to slow speed.
ð The engine must stop.
Seat contact switch
1. Select MC operating mode.
2. Insert the Remote Control Transmitter into the Remote
Control Transmitter holder.
3. Sit down in the driver's seat.
4. Switch on the Remote Control Transmitter and the re-
ceiver.
5. Start the engine.
6. Turn the accelerator lever forward to slow speed.
7. Carefully relieve the driver's seat.
ð The engine must stop.
Magnetic contact switch on the Remote Control
Transmitter holder and seat contact switch
1. Select MC operating mode.
2. Insert the Remote Control Transmitter into the Remote
Control Transmitter holder.
3. Sit down in the driver's seat.
4. Switch on the Remote Control Transmitter and the re-
ceiver.
5. Start the engine.
6. Turn the accelerator lever forward to slow speed.
ð The engine must not be stopped.
Checking the Emergency stop switch
1. Select MC operating mode.
2. Sit down in the driver's seat.
3. Switch on the Remote Control Transmitter and the re-
ceiver.
4. Start the engine.
5. Move on a terrain where the blade can rotate freely and
does not touch objects or the ground.
6. Make sure that nobody is in the danger area of the device.
7. Engage the blade.
8. Press the Emergency stop switch on the device.
ð The blade must come to a standstill from full speed in
less than 5 seconds.
ð The engine must stop.
ð The status indicators on the device must be perma-
nently lit.
Checking the start-stop switch with key
1. Select RC operating mode.
2. Switch on the Remote Control Transmitter and the re-
ceiver.
3. Start the engine.
4. Drive on large, open and level terrain.
5. Make sure that nobody is in the danger area of the device.
6. Drive slowly forward.
7. Press the start-stop switch.
ð The accelerator lever must go to neutral position/parking
brake.
ð The engine must stop.
ð The status indicators on the device must be permanently
lit.
Checking the key function
1. Press the start-stop switch.
2. Remove the key from the start-stop switch without turning
it.
