Practicing the RC mode

7. The blade is disengaged in case of an Emergency stop.
However, the toggle switch "Blade clutch" (7) remains in
the position that was last selected. Therefore, set the tog-
gle switch "blade clutch" (7) manually to "Off".
Practicing the RC mode
Read the chapter "Working in the RC mode" and make your-
self familiar with the control elements before you starting with
training or work.
Limit the maximum speed via the rotary knob on the Remote
Control transmitter. Make sure that you know at all times how
to stop the device.
First practice driving and steering on a big, open and flat ter-
rain while the blade is switched off.
Practice driving around obstacles. Never steer the device to-
wards yourself.
First mow on flat and open terrain and gradually increase the
level of difficulty (uneven terrain, obstacles, slight slope incli-
nations).
Move on to difficult terrain and slopes only after you have
safely mastered the device.

Working in the RC mode

Requirements
– The operating mode selection lever is set to RC mode.
– There is no driver in the seat.
– The Remote Control Transmitter is not in the Remote Con-
trol Transmitter holder.

Starting the engine in the RC mode

Requirements
– The fuel valve is open.
– Receiver and Remote Control Transmitter are switched on
and ready for operation.

1. When engine is warm:
Move the accelerator lever to middle position (full throttle).
When the engine and outside temperatures are cold
(cold start):
Move the accelerator lever to cold start position (Choke).

2. Press the button "Engine start" (5) on the Remote Control
Transmitter.
ð Engine is started.
ð The oil control light (13) on the Remote Control Trans-
mitter goes out.
3. Only after cold start:
Move the accelerator lever to middle position (full throttle).

Steering in the RC mode

Fig. 26:
Steer the device with the right joystick (3).
When you release the joystick, the device steers straight for-
ward.
Steer to the left:
Left
Press joystick to the left
Steer to the right:
Right
Press joystick to the right
Trimming steering
If the device does not drive straight in spite of the middle po-
sition of the steering wheel, adjust it with the rotary knob
"Trimming steering" (11).
Steering Trim.
Device drive to the right:
Turn rotary knob to the left
(direction L.).
Turning
When turning the device, make sure thon the device always
moves away from you.

Device drive to the left:
Turn rotary knob to the right
(direction R.).
