Working in the MC mode
– The blade is not in transport position.

Blade On Engaging blade:
Set toggle switch (7) to "On".
Disengaging the blade:
Set toggle switch (7) to "Off".

Notice: For safety reasons, the blade is never engaged au-
tomatically. If, prior to engaging the blade, the toggle switch
"Blade clutch" is set to "On", the toggle switch must be set
to "Off" first.
Engaging blade:
1. For mowing, set the accelerator lever to the maximum
speed.
2. Set the highest cutting height.
3. Set the toggle switch "Blade clutch" (7) to "On".
ð The blade is engaged.
ð Status indicator on the device flashes.
ð The status indicator on the Remote Control Transmit-
ter (14) flashes.
4. Set the desired cutting height.
When crossing over paths, disengage the blade.
1. Set the toggle switch "Blade clutch" (7) to "Off".
ð The blade is disengaged.
ð The status indicators do not flash any longer.

Moving blade to transport position

The blade can be moved to transport position out of any posi-
tion.

Press button (9).
1. Briefly press the button (9)to move the blade to transport
position.
ð The blade is immediately disengaged.
ð The blade is moved to transport position.
Activating the differential lock in the MC
mode
To activate the differential lock, press the left pedal all the
way down.
To avoid excessive wear,
– activate the differential lock only when the device is
stopped, if possible.
– always step on the pedal all the way.
– release the differential lock when it is no longer absolutely
needed.

Switching off and parking in the MC mode

Warning
Fire hazard
Parts of the device can become extremely hot during oper-
ation and may cause fire.
► Please observe the safety instructions regarding the fire
risk.

Danger of poisoning due to exhaust gases
► Do not operate the engine in a closed or insufficiently
ventilated room.
► Please observe the safety instructions regarding the
poisoning risk.
Warning
There is a risk of injury in case of unauthorized use.
► Press the start-stop switch on the Remote Control
Transmitter, remove the key and switch off the main
switch when done using the device.
Warning
Risk of injury due to device that is no longer controllable.
If you switch off the main switch on the device, the receiver
is no longer active. The blade is decelerated by the stop-
ping engine. The device can roll away if the parking is not
activated.

the following section.
