3.7.3.2. Turn off Module Using API Interface

It is also a safe way to use API interface to turn off the module, which is similar to turning off the module via
PWRKEY Pin.
See document [2] for details about API function.
NOTES
1. To avoid damaging the internal flash, please do not switch off the power supply when the module works
normally. Only after the module is shut down by PWRKEY or API interface, the power supply can be cut off.
2. When turn off module with API, please keep PWRKEY at high level after the execution of power off
command. Otherwise the module will be turned on again after successfully turn-off.

3.8. Reset the Module

RESET can be used to reset the module. The module can be reset by driving RESET low for at least 370 ms. As
the RESET pin is sensitive to interference, the routing trace is recommended to be as short as possible and totally
ground shielded.

The recommended circuit is similar to the PWRKEY control circuit. An open drain/collector driver or button can be
used to control the RESET.
