Troubleshooting
Cause
Focusing eyepieces are not set
correctly.
Objective not screwed in until
stop.
Tube lens either not integrated or
integrated superfluously.
Interpupillary distance of the
binocular tube is not set correctly.
Focusing eyepieces are not set

binocular tube is not set correctly.

Image brightness not acceptable.
Binocular tube optically /

Remedy
Set focusing eyepieces to the
appropriate ametropia, s. p. 2-13.
Screw in objective until stop.
Integrate tube lens or remove
superfluous tube lens.
Set interpupillary distance
correctly, see p. 2-13.
Set focusing eyepieces to the
